This year's Windsor half marathon take place on Sunday, September 29.
Susan Blues, events fundraiser for the hospice in Hatch Lane, said: “This is an opportunity to run in one of the most picturesque races in the whole of the UK. All we ask is that you ask your friends and family for sponsorship to help raise vital funds for local people with life-limiting conditions – and their families."
Runners will be able to use the marquee manned by the hospice's volunteer support team. After the race light refreshments will be served there.
The Glynn Shefford Memorial Run will take place simultaneously. It is a fun run for over 10s covering two miles and is staged in memory of the Old Windsor scout leader who helped organise the first half marathon in 1981.
Sign up to either event today by emailing susan.blues@thameshospice.org.uk or call her on 01753 842121.
