The air ambulance took a little girl to hospital this afternoon after a taxi and a van were involved in an accident on Royal Windsor Way - formerly the Windsor and Eton Relief Road.
She was one of a family of five - two adults and three children - hurt in the accident. Firefighters from Windsor and Slough went to the scene shortly before 1pm and one woman had to be freed using hydraulic cutting gear.
Ambulances took four members of the family to Wexham Park Hospital, Slough while the air ambulance took the little girl. None of the injuries are believed to be life threatening.
Firefighters finally left at 2.10pm.
The road was still closed at 3pm this afternoon.
