A new season of lectures, visits and study days has been organised by the Windsor and Maidenhead Decorative and Fine Arts Society.
The society has a new chairman Roger Askew who lives in Stoke Poges.
Roger said: "The coming season is packed with interest and includes a lecture on Australian Art, a whole day devoted to jewellery led by Antiques Roadshow specialist John Benjamin, as well as visits to the British Museum and the Royal Library at Windsor Castle."
The first meeting of the new season is on Wednesday next week and is a lecture entitled 18th Century Furniture and Interiors: 1700-1800. It is being offered as a free 'taster'.
The Society meets in the Memorial Hall, Straight Road, Old Windsor and starts with tea and coffee from 1.10pm. The lecture starts at 1.45.
