Cllr Andrew Jenner and his wife Julia, opened the new building at Clewer Green CE Aided First School on Saturday.
After cutting the ribbon, Cllr Jenner was given a tour of the new facilities by children from the school, which includes two new classrooms, a dance studio, and new staff room funded by the Royal Borough.
The Hatch Lane school's autumn fair took place after the opening with attractions such as a bouncy castle, cake stall, bric-a-brac and tombola as well as headteacher Martin Tinsley having wet sponges thrown at him.
More than 100 people turned up to the event and raised more than £7,000.
Sarah Laver, chairman of the Friends of Clewer Green and organiser of the event said: "We are absolutely delighted with the success of the Autumn Fair.
"Not only were we able to raise more money for the School but the fair is always such a great community event with children, parents and teachers all working together to make it happen and joining in on the day."
