Drug advice will be offered at an event at East Berkshire College's Windsor campus in support of National Personal Safety Day.
Theresa Allen, the Royal Borough's Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) young people's worker, will be on hand to offer drug and alcohol advice in respect of risky behaviour and how this can make an individual more vulnerable.
Cllr David Coppinger, cabinet member for adult services and health, said: "Some young people experiment with drugs and alcohol and this can make them more at risk of being a victim of crime.
"It is therefore imperative we arm them with information and advice.
"This day is an excellent way of doing so and I am very pleased that the DAAT's young people's worker will be on hand to answer the young people's questions."
The event, which takes place tomorrow at the campus in St Leonards Road, will also provide advice on personal safety.
