Black cats currently waiting for homes are hoping that this year's Halloween will be 'lucky for some'.
Battersea Dogs and Cats Home in Priest Hill, Old Windsor is holding a spooky-themed Scaredy Cat event to put the spotlight on its 'bewitching' black moggies.
It will happen during half-term on Saturday and Sunday, October 26 and 27 from 10.30am until 4pm.
Feline fans will be able to meet current scaredy cats living at the home, name kittens, enjoy arts and crafts in the cattery, join in fun games and activities and raise money for Battersea with face painting and a cake sale. Entry to the Scaredy Cat event is free although nominal charges for some activities will apply.
