The event - which was reported on in last week's Express - attracted more teams than ever before and more than £12,000 was raised on the day.
But a week later it became clear that the final amount would reach over £16,000. The 56 teams that took part had chosen causes ranging from the Blue Mountain horse rescue charity and SportsAble to their local brownie and guide packs, Windsor Boys School rowing section and SURF - the addiction treatment service based in Slough.
All of the proceeds will be presented to the groups at the awards evening in early January 2014.
Lion Mike Sells, the event organiser, said: “The local community is going to benefit significantly through their efforts. The atmosphere on poolside was superb and everybody involved, including our club members, had a great time."
