This year's Operation Christmas Child shoebox campaign is under way - with a drop-off location centre established at Windsor Leisure Centre in Stovell Road.
People are invited to fill their shoeboxes, which are sent to needy children throughout the world.
The boxes will go to Zambia, Belarus, Romania, Serbia and Ukraine. They can be obtained from schools, churches and community groups.
Toys, pens, pencils, notebooks, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, washcloths, hats, scarves and gloves can all be packed in a gift-wrapped shoebox. A small donation is required to cover shipping costs.
