A number of capital funding bids to improve Windsor town centre have been supported by the Royal Borough.
Cabinet met at Windsor Guildhall on Thursday, June 24, to discuss the Windsor Improvements Programme, which will see a total of £936,000 spent.
Bids approved included the redecoration of Windsor Riverside kiosk, Victoria Street and Clarence Road junction improvements, St Leonards Road pedestrianisation, Alexandra Gardens improvements, the pedestrianisation of Peascod Street, and Charles Street improvements.
Speaking at the meeting, Cllr Eileen Quick (Con, Clewer East) said: "I think it's important to work together to make Windsor a good place for people to live, visit, work and have businesses.
"It's our responsibility to keep the town centre in good condition by considering the overall needs of the town and providing the best for our residents and visitors."
