A funfair on top of the castle and lots of robots all featured when children were asked to do drawings showing what Windsor could look like in 1,000 years.
The event took place at the Windsor and Royal Borough Museum in the Guildhall on Tuesday. The museum's education officer Alice le Page said that 30 families took part and children had a field day coming up with futuristic drawings.
Winner Dominic Evans, five, got to transfer his offering onto a badge that will be available at the museum. His sister Daniella, eight, was runner-up.
The event was part of the Beyond the Castle walls project, based at the museum and sponsored by the Heritage Lottery Fund.
