Supporters who help Thames Hospice in Windsor to flourish were thanked at a special ceremony on Tuesday.
They received the Queen's Awards for Voluntary Service, which included a certificate signed by the Queen and an exclusive commemorative crystal presented by the Lord Lieutenant of Berkshire Mary Bayliss.
Among them were Neville and Daphne Smith, long-standing helpers at the charity's Dedworth shop.
Other recipients from the hospice in Hatch Lane were two members of the bereavement counselling team, one of whom also volunteers on the Windsor hospice reception, a volunteer driver, a volunteer from the housekeeping team, a trustee and two members of staff.
Hospice volunteer services manager Charlotte Fielder - one of those to receive the reward - said: "The ceremony reflected the contribution our volunteers make to the lives of our patients and families. It was a memorable day."
The ceremony was held at Bearwood College in Wokingham.
