The third Twilight Ball in aid of Age Concern Windsor was the most successful yet, raising more than £5,000.

The event was held on Friday, November 22 at the Mercure Castle Hotel in Windsor High Street.

Bill Downie, the managing director of Meiko UK in Slough paid for volunteers at the charity's headquarters in Spencer Denney Centre, Clewer to be there, as well as contributing raffle prizes.

The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Andrew Jenner came along too to complete the evening which was organised by Derek and Glenys Bishop.
