The Friends of Windsor Parish Church had ringing in their ears at their coffee morning on Saturday.
They were joined by 20 visiting bell ringers from Gloucestershire who showed off their skills - giving the usual tower captain Frank Blagrove the chance to sit back and relax.
Mr Blagrove is normally the tower captain when Windsor's own ringers are doing the honours.
The coffee morning was attended by 50 friends of the church. Its organist John Halsey gave a short recital of Pastoral tunes. Christine Heybourn and her staff supplied the coffee, tea and biscuits.
More than 50 street parties are set to take place this weekend across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
