Although only three homes had been flooded internally and the river level is now falling she says people are still suffering major inconvenience.
She said: "I am getting more and more reports of people who suddenly have no phones, no heating, no loos despite the water going down.
"There has been an enormous amount of damage everywhere. Peoples' garages and outhouses have disappeared under water."
She remains convinced that the Jubilee River - built to safeguard Maidenhead during floods - has contributed to the amount of water that flowed downstream towards Old Windsor and Wraysbury.
Gillie said: "People who have lived here 50 years say they have never seen anything like it. They are sure the Jubilee River has exacerbated our problems and this is not something that it going to go away."
