Enjoy an early morning walk with the dog in the Great Park this weekend - and raise money for Windsor's hospice at the same time.
The annual 'Woofs and Wellies' walk is taking place on Saturday starting at 9am.
Already 100 dog owners have signed up but there is still room for more, as long as they register by the end of tomorrow.
Money raised by the sponsored event will go to Thames Hospice, Hatch Lane, Windsor.
The walk will start at Bishopsgate, Bishopsgate Road, Englefield Green. But the originally planned 9k stroll through the Great Park has had to be abbreviated to a more modest 7k.
Hospice community fund raiser Amelia Slaughter said: "We did a dry run and unfortunately areas of the planned walk turned out to be not so dry.
"It should still be a great walk though."
The registration fee is £20 and a recommended minimum pledge for fundraising dog lovers is £50. Anyone who does not have a dog is invited to dress up as one or even lead an imaginary one round the route.
To take part ring 01753 848947 or visit here.
Every registered dog will receive a doggy bag and dog tag.
More than 50 street parties are set to take place this weekend across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
