Slam poet A F Harrold kept children from schools across Berkshire in fits of laughter with his crazy antics when he visited Windsor.
He entertained 11 to 14-year-olds from nine schools on Monday, February 10, when they gathered at Brigidine School in Kings Road.
The event was held to tie in with this year's Berkshire Book Awards, held annually for the last 10 years by librarians across the county to give children the chance to pick their favourite book.
The poet and author, whose full name is Ashley Harrold, has just published his third book and is the creator of Fizzlebert Stump, the boy who ran away from the library to join the circus.
He is also a top slam poet, mixing rap with stand up comedy.
Penny King, librarian at Brigidine, said: "He is a real performer who had the children in constant giggles."
