Mantra nightclub in Goswell Hill could be facing the loss of its licence - less than a year after persuading planning councillors to let it stay open later.
Police have asked for its licence to be reviewed by Royal Borough licensing sub-committee.
The hearing is tentatively pencilled in to take place on Monday, March 24 at the Guildhall, Windsor and councillors are expected to hear evidence all day.
The club was only given the go-ahead to stay open till 2am Friday and Saturday nights and 1am Sunday by planning councillors on April 24 last year.
The Royal Borough's licensing team leader Alan Barwise said: "Police have got serious concerns about the way the premises are being managed.
"They say licensing objectives are being undermined and they are having to put in extra resources that could be used elsewhere."
Manager Anthony Connors declined to comment on Tuesday.
