Forget Britain's Got Talent - Legoland Windsor now has a performing parrot following a nationwide search.
Charlie the Macaw has seen off stiff competition in a closely-run contest against three other pets to win a perch at the Legoland Windsor Resort Hotel this Easter.
In a job interview like no other, the birds were asked to give their best pirate performances to win.
The final four were Tracey the treasure-hunting scarlet macaw, cunning green-winged Zico, blue and gold Charlie who can play dead, and loot-hoarding Jethro.
The post has been created to celebrate the opening of Pirate Shores, a new pirate-themed area at the theme park in Winkfield Road.
The call was issued for parrot owners around the country to nominate their birds for the role.
Lauren Moss, senior Legoland press officer, said: "They were all so gifted, picking the perfect parrot for the post was incredibly tough."
