A 'suspicious incident' is being investigated by police after a child was approached by a man in Old Windsor.
The incident happened at the Old Windsor Recreation Ground on Tuesday.
Superintendent Kate Ford, LPA commander for Windsor and Maidenhead said: “Officers have been out to meet with the mother of the child and discuss the incident further and build a clear picture of the incident.
“At this time the motivation behind the incident is still unclear, but as a precautionary measure I have tasked the local neighbourhood team to carry out additional patrols and I would urge anyone with concerns to approach the team and discuss these with them.
She added: “Old Windsor is an extremely safe place to live and incidents of this nature are highly unusual. I would urge people to carry on with their day-to-day lives.
