Methods for dealing with crime in Windsor will be addressed by the Royal Borough's crime and disorder scrutiny panel on Monday.
The panel will discuss the implementation of various communication schemes, including the use of social media, to raise awareness and reassure the community about its safety.
Following concerns about the way domestic abuse cases are managed in the borough, community safety manager Brian Martin will talk about improvements to this sector.
Alterations which aim to improve police communication with victims will also be discussed.
Claire Gomm from the Drug and Alcohol Action Team (DAAT) will be speaking to the panel about the treatment of offenders who have problems with mental health or substance abuse.
Also on the agenda is a discussion concerning plans for police to work closely with the council to establish ways of changing environmental factors to reduce the likelihood of people offending.
The meeting will take place from 6.15pm at Maidenhead Town Hall in St Ives Road.
