A Legoland Windsor traffic experiment will take place for a second time over the Bank Holiday weekend.
From tomorrow (Saturday) (May 3) until Monday (May 5), drivers will be encouraged by signs to use a new route, avoiding Royal Windsor Way, Imperial Road and Winkfield Road and instead reaching Legoland via Straight Road in Old Windsor, Albert Road and through the Great Park.
There were mixed reactions to the experiment when it was held over the Easter weekend from April 18 to 21, with less traffic in Winkfield Road but more traffic in Straight Road.
Highways officers from the Royal Borough will be collecting data over the course of the experiment, which could become permanent if significant disruption is not caused elsewhere.
The experiment will also be held for a third weekend on May 24-26.
