A pub in Windsor has been voted as the best in East Berkshire for a second time.
The Carpenters Arms, in Market Street, was voted top by the Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) with the White Horse in Hedgerley and The Bear in Maidenhead in second and third place.
The award was given to the Carpenters Arms in recognition of the quality of the real ales served and for providing a choice of beer to suit all tastes.
Landlord John Perry was due to be presented with the award at a presentation on Thursday.
The pub will now go through to the regional heat where it will be judged against other branch winners in the region.
