Children's author Dame Jacqueline Wilson is set to appear with her puppy at Battersea Dogs and Cats Home Old Windsor's Fun Day.
The Story of Tracy Beaker writer rehomed 16-week-old Jackson after he was found wandering the streets in Croydon.
The pair will be appearing at the Priest Hill-based charity's event on Saturday, July 5, where they will be helping to judge dog classes including 'golden oldie' and 'waggiest tail'.
Dame Jacqueline said: "We are very excited about attending the fun day and hopefully we will make a good judging team and agree on who should be the winners.
"I went to the event last year and it is always such a wonderful event where Battersea dogs and animal lovers from all over the country come together to join in the fun."
There will also be a Battersea Bake Off competition where pet owners will be encouraged to bring their cakes to be judged on the day.
All proceeds from the event will go towards the charity.
