Britain's first blind show jumper was surprised with a horse of her own at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
Karen Law was presented with a Belgian-bred grey horse on Saturday, May 17, by former international show jumper Dame Emma Jane Brown, who raised money to buy the animal through sky diving and other activities.
The three-time ladies champion has been mentoring Karen, who was born with bilateral collaboma and dreams of competing in the Paralympics but could not afford a house of her own.
The presentation was made as Karen, who has competed at National Championships and La Baule, was being interviewed in front of the Royal Box about her career.
She will now have the chance to compete as a para-equestrian at the highest level.
