A suspected fraudster and thief from Windsor has appeared in court.
Grant Farrell, of Clarence Road, has been charged with three counts of fraud by false representation at Windsor Swimming Club in Barry Avenue.
The 50-year-old is also charged with three counts of false accounting and five counts of theft at Thames Valley Athletics Centre in Pococks Lane, Eton.
The alleged offences are believed to have taken place between March 2007 and March 2012.
Farrell turned up at Slough Magistrates' Court today wearing a blue suit and sunglasses.
The case was deemed to serious for the magistrates' court and was transferred to Reading Crown Court.
Farrell has been remanded on conditional bail to appear for a preliminary hearing on Monday, June 9.
He has not yet entered pleas.
