A second meeting to discuss an agreed neighbourhood plan for Central and West Windsor will take place next week.
The Government is encouraging each area in the country to come up with a future development plan agreed by local people.
Earlier attempts to do this in Windsor foundered over disagreements about whether the West Windsor area should be included with the town centre in one plan.
A first meeting aimed at setting up a new forum to produce a strategy for the whole area was held on May 8. The follow up meeting will be on Thursday, June 12 at Windsor Methodist Church, Alma Road.
All residents and local businesses are invited.
It is hoped that two plans operating in partnership will be agreed by December - a Central Windsor business plan and a Windsor neighbourhood plan for the whole area.
