Man persuaded down from top of Windsor car park

A police negotiator was called to Windsor's multi storey car park in Victoria Street last night, after a man was seen poised dangerously on the edge on the top floor shortly before 8pm.

Police, firefighters and paramedics were on the scene until 10pm. The man was eventually persuaded to climb to safety.

He was taken by ambulance to Slough's Wexham Park Hospital.

The car park has its main entrance in Russell Street.
