The annual Order of the Garter ceremony took place at Windsor Castle yesterday.
It was attended by the Queen, the Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Charles, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Andrew, Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.
Huge crowds gathered inside the castle grounds to watch the procession.
The new Knights of the Garter appointed at the ceremony were Baroness Eliza Manningham-Buller, former director general of MI5, and Lord Mervyn King, former governor of the Bank of England.

More than 50 street parties are set to take place this weekend across the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead and the surrounding areas.
An independent report into a Conservative councillor has found a breach of the Royal Borough’s code of conduct in a document seen by the Advertiser.
