Windsor's second En Plein Air competition takes place all over town next weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday, July 12.
Artists taking part will gather with their canvases at the Guildhall in High Street between 10am and 11am, before being sent off to a choice of locations in the town and given just four hours to paint or draw their own 'masterpiece' in the open air.
At 3pm the artists will set up an exhibition of their work at Windsor Royal Shopping centre Goswell Hill, ready to be judged.
There will be a £250 prize for the winner, £100 second prize with a 'peoples' choice' winner chosen by members of the public at the exhibition and sponsored by Windsor Contemporary Arts Fair.
It costs £10 to enter - visit www.windsor.gov.uk or email mike.brown@rbwm.gov.uk for more details.
Last year more than a dozen adults took part in the contest.
The winner was Harriet Brittaine, pictured presenting her work to the Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Richard Kellaway at the Guildhall.
