A homeless project in Windsor will be encouraging people to experience the challenges of sleeping rough.
The Big Sleep Out, run by Windsor Christian Action as part of their Windsor Homeless Project, is being held to raise awareness for the project and funds for it.
The event, which will be held on October 3 near Windsor Baptist Parish Church, in Victoria Street, will start with an evening of live music from musicians and DJs, before volunteers take to the streets to spend the night.
The Homeless Project was set up in 2009 following the death of homeless man Patrick O'Leary in Windsor.
It provides a warm place for homeless people to go during the winter months and a drop-in centre where guests can get hot food, a shower, and advice.
