A former Tour de France cyclist joined staff from an independent bike shop for a ride around Berkshire to celebrate the store’s third birthday.
The riders travelled from the shop in Peascod Street in Windsor, through Twyford, Henley, Marlow, Cookham, Maidenhead and back to Windsor.
As well as celebrating the store’s birthday, the cyclists had a chance to demo a hi-tech X-Bionic kit which regulates body temperature.
Organiser of the event Vikki Butcher said: “We wanted to this to be a social occasion and to do something different.
“It’s tough to be an independent bike shop at the moment so we are trying to be more than just a bike shop by building a community.”
