Dogs take over pub for Battersea fundraiser

A popular pub 'went to the dogs' when families brought their favourite pets in.

The event at the Prince Arthur pub in Grove Road, Windsor was held to raise funds for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home, which has premises only a mile away at Priest Hill, Old Windsor.

More than 30 attended, including children and their dogs. They enjoyed coffee and pastries and a raffle of dog related prizes donated by supportive businesses.

Jay Davis, who brought along her daughters Felicity and Amelie and their dog Teasel, said: “It was a great fundraiser.

"Felicity has been talking about it and how she would like to organise a fundraiser herself.”

The event held on Thursday, July 24 raised more than £120.To get involved in fundraising contact j.brewer@battersea.org.uk or on 07590 173458.
