Fuchsia lovers went right to the top when they needed a judge for their show on Saturday.
They invited Peter Holloway, president of the British Fuchsia Society, down to Gardener's Hall, St Leonard's Road, Windsor.
Eric Wiles, president of Windsor and Slough Chrysanthemum, Fuchsia and Pelargonium Society, said: "Each year the committee spends some time selecting the judges for the following year.
"It was mentioned that the national president of the British Fuchsia Society would like to visit one of our shows. So we decided to ask him to come up from Trowbridge.
"This he did and seemed to enjoy meeting rank and file members."
The prizes were presented this year by the society's vice-president, past Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Sandra Hopkins.
Ray Birt won seven first prizes, Peter Waving won two, Tony Galea, David Coe, Graham Talbot and Bob Clarke one each.
