The 1st Battalion Coldstream Guards will parade through Windsor later this month as they celebrate their return that week from Afghanistan.
The parade will take place on Friday, August 22, setting off 10 minutes after the usual Guard Change starts - the Castle Guard leaving Victoria Barracks in Sheet Street as usual at 10.45am.
The 1st Battalion will leave the barracks from the Sergeant's Mess Gate in Victoria Street at 10.55am, marching up Clarence Road, Charles Street, Goswell Road, Barry Avenue, River Street, Thames Street, High Street and Sheet Street returning to the barracks by 11.20am.
The march is expected to last 21 minutes.
Roads not on the normal Guard Change route will be closed for about 15 minutes. Thames Street, High Street and Sheet Street north of the traffic lights at the junction with Victoria Street will be closed for three quarters of an hour.
