David and Cait featured with daughter Xuxa, 16, in last week's edition of Kirstie's Channel 4 television show Fill Your House for Free.
The family's Ham Island home in Old Windsor had eight inches of water in it back in February. But thanks to a friend with a contact at Channel 4, Xuxa's bedroom got a televised makeover.
Cait said: "We went to Glasgow to meet Kirstie and pick the furniture. She was absolutely gorgeous, really lovely and very sympathetic about the flooding."
Kirstie's team spent two days sorting out Xuxa's room. Cait said: "They came up with graffiti on her wall spelling out her name, an iron bedstead, a desk and chair, a drum kit that lights up - everything a 16-year-old would want."
Xuxa, who is a pupil at Charters School, Charters Road, Sunningdale was last year's Old Windsor carnival queen.
