People living in Windsor and Eton are being offered a 'once in a generation' chance to have their say.
They are invited to make a direct contribution to the Neighbourhood Plan being prepared under new legislation introduced by the government last year.
The final plan could colour decisions affecting the area made by the Royal Borough over the next 10 to 15 years.
Communications manager for the plan Claire Milne said: "Do you think we need a better mix of shops, new medical facilities or housing? Improved bus links? Now for the first time you have the chance to have a direct say in the Neighbourhood Plan (NP). Anyone from the area can participate."
There will be an information stand at Windsor Farmer Market in St Leonard's Road on Saturday, as well as a launch event at Windsor Racecourse on Wednesday, October 24 from 4pm to 9pm.
No special expertise is needed to become involved.
