Sushi was the main attraction at the opening of a new restaurant in Windsor.
The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Colin Rayner was there to experience a taste of Japan as he did the honours at the opening of YO! Sushi in Daniel Department Store yesterday.
The 64th restaurant in the chain will offer a true taste of Tokyo, on their trademark ‘kaiten’ conveyor belt, where diners can watch the expertly trained ‘kitchen ninjas’ slice, dice, wrap and roll the freshest ingredients.
The restaurant is located at the entrance to the recently refurbished department store, catering for 58 guests, consisting of six booth seats and 34 stools arranged around the belt.
It will be open from 11.30am to 10pm Monday to Saturday, and 12pm until 9pm on Sunday.
