Old cans and glass jars are being used to help schools across the Royal Borough develop environmental schemes.
Pupils and teachers at The Queen Anne Royal Free CE First School, in Chaucer Close, Windsor, are appealing to Royal Borough householders who recycle to donate their Recyclebank points to help them develop sustainable projects.
The Recyclebank scheme gives members points related to how much they recycle.
The Windsor school could receive a grant of up to £550 to help develop environmental initiatives as Recyclebank will give the school £1 for every 200 points donated.
Points can be donated online via the Green Schools Programme page at www.recyclebank.com before December 14.
