The trial of a police officer from Windsor Police Station who has denied 17 counts of fraud is set to start on Friday.
Detective Sergeant Narinder Sahota, 49, will appear at Bristol Crown Court.
He is charged with nine counts of obtaining a mortgage by deception, five counts of defrauding Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), and three counts of perjury.
His wife Rajinder Sahota, 50, also denied four counts of obtaining a mortgage by deception and three counts of defrauding HMRC.
