The Amir of the State of Kuwait will be the next head of state to visit the Queen at Windsor Castle from November 27-29.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, has accepted an invitation from Her Majesty to visit the UK.
The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh paid a state visit to Kuwait in 1979 to His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah - the late Amir of the State of Kuwait.
The present Amir from oil-rich Kuwait has reigned since January 2006 and is said to enjoy fishing in his leisure time.
The Emir of Qatar was the last head of state to visit Windsor Castle in October 2010.
