Scouts in Windsor will soon see big improvements to their headquarters after raising more than £1,000 at Saturday's annual fair.
Clewer scout and guide group held the fair at the headquarters in Maidenhead Road.
The Mayor of Windsor and Maidenhead Cllr Colin Rayner and mayoress Samantha Rayner came along to give their support, not surprising as their three girls have been members for years.
Stalls selling gifts, cakes, jam, toys and books competed for attention with a treasure map, 'guess the weight of the pumpkin' and 'number of sweets in the jar' contests, a tombola and tasty lunches.
Scouter in charge David Shaw said: "It was really lovely to see the mayor and mayoress, especially with their close family connections with our group."
Raffle prizes were donated by the Castle Hotel, Tesco, French Bros and Curves Gym.
The fair raised £1,018.55.
