Today marks the anniversary of the Windsor Castle fire which saw the historic castle suffer severe damages.

The fire began at 11.33am in The Queen's Private Chapel on Friday November, 20, 1992, when a spotlight ignited a curtain. There were no deaths or major injuries.

The major loss was to the fabric of the castle. It cost £36.5m to restore the castle.

Share your memories of the fire with the Windsor Express for a special feature in Friday's edition.
