A bulldozer went up in flames inside an open field at Windsor Royal Racecourse this afternoon.
One Windsor fire crew were called to the Maidenhead Road course at 1pm after the £100,000 Liebherr 734 vehicle caught blaze.
Black watch manager Christopher Davies said the electrics and engine were severely damaged and the driver got out and was not injured.
He said the crew spent about 30 minutes putting the fire out.
