An arrest warrant has been issued for a petrol thief who failed to turn up to be sentenced.
Charmaine Reed, of Clewer New Town, Windsor, admitted stealing more than £140 worth of unleaded fuel from garage forecourts and was due to learn her fate at Reading Crown Court, sitting at Reading Magistrates, yesterday.
But she failed to show up at court and Judge Angela Morris issued the arrest warrant.
Judge Morris said: "Reading the pre-sentence report, this is a lady who has displayed a rather unfortunate attitude towards court orders."
The 32-year-old pleaded guilty in October to making off without paying four times when stealing the fuel from petrol stations in Langley, Colnbrook and Beaconsfield in August.
