The campaign to stop selfish dog walkers letting their pets foul a village's recreation ground has failed.
Last year the Express reported how Old Windsor Parish Council was offering a £100 reward for information leading to the conviction of offenders abusing the ground in Robin Willis Way.
But despite a highly publicised 'launch' when a sign offering the reward was unveiled, parish chairman Cllr Jane Dawson said the campaign had failed.
She said: "People are still letting their dogs foul the ground and parents are complaining to us they will not let their children use the recreation ground.
"I'm afraid we are going to have to think of something else."
