Fire crews rescue pony

Fire crews rescue pony

Firefighters had to be called to rescue a Shetland pony from a ditch this morning.

A crew from Langley was joined by a specialist water rescue unit from Reading at about 10am to retrieve the creature, which had become stuck near the Queen Mother Reservoir, just off Penn Road, Datchet.

It is thought to have been there overnight.

It has been reunited with its owners.
