A bid for nine flats has been made for Sunningdale.
Apricot Properties Ltd wants to put these on Courtleigh Manor and House, Lady Margaret Road.
It was previously refused in March (21/02263/FULL). This application ‘proposes the same character of development.’
The new block comprises three storeys with three flats on the ground floor, three on the first floor, and the remaining three flats with the roof space on the second floor.
The nine flats comprise eight two-bedrooms and one three-bed.
The building will be constructed using a Georgian architectural style, which ‘follows the character and principles which have already been established locally.’
It is proposed that the secondary access which currently exists on Charters Roadl be closed to vehicles.
The existing garage will be removed, and the existing dropped kerb is to be replaced with a standard kerb.
To prevent use by any other vehicle, the driveway in the site will be converted into landscaping and form part of the amenity space for the flat building.
A total of 14 parking spaces are set for the site, with 10 spaces located within two car ports.
Three electric charging points will also be delivered.
Cycle parking will also be provided – 12 spaces inside a covered cycle store.
There is also to be a communal garden (270sqm) – ‘in excess of the RBWM requirements’ (10sqm per flat).
Representatives, Boyer, said applicants have ‘comprehensively sought to address the Reason for Refusal of the previous scheme, through reduction in bulk, scale and massing,’
