Unleash the hounds of love – a tribute to the sensational music of Kate Bush will whirl into Maidenhead next week.
Performed by five musicians with a passion for Kate Bush’s incomparable music. They present it with authenticity and admiration.
The band delivers an immersive performance of Kate’s alluring repertoire, starting with the revolutionary first album The Kick Inside.
Singer Kate Smith has a remarkable resemblance to a young Catherine Bush. She says: ‘I was about seven when I first fell in love with Kate’s music… Fast forward to being 17, I regularly performed at open mic nights singing British 60s hits including Cilla Black and Sandie Shaw amongst other stuff like Hazel O’Connor; I used to have people come up to me after and make comparisons to mine and Kate’s voice every time I performed.
“We got a band together in 2017, my only rule being that members had to have the same love and enthusiasm for Kate’s music as us, and here we are.”
Kate’s father Gary Smith will feature on drums.
Featuring the songs Moving, Babooshka, Sat in Your Lap, Running Up That Hill, Cloudbusting and more – it’s a must see for Kate fans!
The show was a big hit at Portsmouth’s Victorious Festival last year, prompting this year’s tour.
The Norden Farm performance is at 8pm. Tickets are £15.
