Windsor Castle: Trump and Epstein projection sees arrests over 'malicious communications'

Four men have been arrested after images of US President Donald Trump and convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein were projected on to Windsor Castle.

A police statement said the group were arrested ‘on suspicion of malicious communications following a public stunt in Windsor’.

Video on social media showed images of President Trump and Epstein projected onto one of the castle towers, along with quotes from the two men.

President Trump has come under scrutiny over his relationship with the disgraced financier Epstein. The President denies any wrongdoing.

The arrested men were: a 60-year-old man from East Sussex, a 36-year-old man from London, a 37-year-old man from Kent and a 50-year-old man from London. Police said the men remain in custody.

Thames Valley Police said the force was 'prepared for protests' ahead of President Trump's visit this week.

Protesters with the Stop Trump Coalition held a demonstration and campaigners with Everyone Hates Elon, an anti-Elon Musk group, also unveiled a large photo of Trump and Epstein by the castle end of the Long Walk.

Chief Superintendent Felicity Parker said: "We take any unauthorised activity around Windsor Castle extremely seriously.

"Our officers responded swiftly to stop the projection and four people have been arrested.

"We are conducting a thorough investigation with our partners into the circumstances surrounding this incident and will provide further updates when we are in a position to do so."
