REVIEW: Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at Wycombe Swan

REVIEW: Snow White and the Seven Dwarves at Wycombe Swan

Wycombe Swan is host to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs this panto season and former Strictly dancer Brendan Cole makes his pantomime debut as The Huntsman.

The usual fabulous panto capers and jokes aplenty gave the whole family something to giggle at.

The music was a real treat – my 11-year-old daughter and her friend loved The Greatest Showman tracks and were so excited when Brendan appeared on stage with dancers in tow.

Jason Sutton is the panto dame and superbly plays Nurse Nancy who delivers some frolics and lines to make us all laugh – some jokes going blissfully over the children’s heads!

The Biscuit scene was our families favourite and will make you all laugh out loud for sure.

Britain’s Got Talent semi-finalist Mandy Muden stars as the Magical Mirror and mystifies the audience with her tricks and one involving an audience member!

Kieran Powell plays the role of  Muddles with his pal Dave the Dinosaur which younger audience members will adore.

Fabulous dance scenes towards the end of the second half with Brendan, Nurse Nancy and Muddles were the other highlight for us.

The costumes and set are a sparkly delight and the show is a treat for the eyes and ears. It certainly got us in the Christmas mood!
